From Head of School
We’re Back, Cougars!
Dear Clairbourn Families,
This was a fantastic start to the school year. We joyfully welcomed new families, reconnected with good friends, and spent time catching up on our summer adventures. I loved hearing the squeals of joy as the children saw their friends and ran for an embrace. I got to see a new face peeking out from behind a parent as they checked out their new classroom. I especially loved watching the teachers shift from meeting and preparation mode to the authentic joy of welcoming and connecting with their students. The classrooms are a magical place, and the children are so fortunate to have these professional educators ready to shepherd them through a great year.
As you start the year, probe for joy, ask about progress, and celebrate growth! It will be a wonderful year!

Welcome to Cougar Court
It has been a busy summer at Clairbourn as we’ve started to make way for our new Middle School building. You’ll see construction at the east end of campus, and our Middle School students are in Cougar Court, our new temporary classroom space. We’ll have lots more to share in the coming weeks! |
| | From The Health Office: Lice Check Is Tomorrow
All students in Preschool through grade 3 will have their hair checked for lice tomorrow, Friday, August 28. If anything is found in your child’s hair, you will be contacted and given the option to have the company provide immediate treatment at school.
If you have questions, please contact, Nick Jubilado in the Health Office, or call 626.286.3108, ext. 117. |
Reserved Parking Reminder
Please do not park in the two "Reserved" parking stalls, even briefly. These spaces are designated for specific individuals. When the spaces are occupied, those individuals may be left without a place to park, especially on busy school days when parking is limited.
