The countdown has begun and we're just three weeks away from welcoming our Cougars back to campus! There is a wonderful sense of excitement across campus as teachers thoughtfully prepare their classrooms and put the finishing touches on spaces where students will grow with curious minds, compassionate hearts, and the confidence to lead.
We look forward to welcoming our youngest students and their families for orientation as they begin their Clairbourn journey. Students from first through eighth grade will have a separate back-to-school night in September. More information to come!

Student Cell Phone Policy

Clairbourn is a phone-free space designed to improve teaching and learning.
Students in preschool through fifth grade may not bring any personal electronic devices to school, including, but not limited to, games, smartwatches, tablet computers, laptop computers, wireless headphones, e-readers, and cell phones. |
|
Middle School Cell Phone Policy: Students may bring a cell phone to school, but it must be locked in a Yondr pouch during the school day.
|
Yondr has been implemented in over 1,000 schools across 21 countries to create an engaged learning environment. It utilizes a simple, secure pouch that stores a phone.
Every middle school student will secure their phone in a personally assigned Yondr pouch when they arrive at school each day. Students will maintain possession of their phones but may not access them until their pouches are opened at the end of the school day. Students are responsible for their Yondr pouches during the school day.
If there is an emergency or your child needs time-sensitive information, please call Clairbourn directly at (626) 286-3108.
In an effort to best serve our students, we appreciate your full support of Clairbourn's cell phone policy and the adoption of the Yondr program at our school. If you have any questions, please contact the Assistant Head of School, Mrs. Taylor.
