Clairbourn Insights
Innovation Lab Fall Engineering Project
the dangerous time the descent vehicle spends between entering the Martian atmosphere and landing safely on the surface.
This project draws inspiration from the classic egg drop challenge, where students attempt to land a raw egg safely from a tall drop. However, at Clairbourn, we are replacing the egg with a PocketLab, a small sensor which will collect acceleration data during the journey. Students have access to a wide range of resources — from plastic bags, straws, and coffee filters to more complex approaches involving chemical reactions, laser cutting, and 3D printing!

Clairbourn Then vs Now
The Manor House is a timeless iconic backdrop for friendship, laughter, and belonging. #Clairbourn100
In celebration of our centennial, we invite our community to submit photos for our commemorative mosaic. |
| | Campus Safety: Playground Hours
Randall Hall playground closes at 4:30 p.m. and preschool playground closes at 3:30 p.m.
We love seeing the community that is built when families stay to chat and play after dismissal, but please clear the main Randall Hall playground by 4:30 p.m. (and the preschool playground area by 3:30 p.m.) so that our after school programs can safely use the space.
Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe and welcoming! |
