Welcome to the 2026 Graduation Ceremony

We are grateful for all the opportunities we have been given by you, our wonderful families. As we bring our Clairbourn experience to a close and move on to our high school experience, we are happy to share this celebration with you. We couldn’t have done it without your support and encouragement. Thank you for coming to see us graduate!
Class of 2026's Gratitude

First, to our parents and families: thank you for the incredible opportunities you’ve given us, your constant support, and your unconditional love. You’ve been there for us at home and at school, volunteering your time and helping make so many of our events memorable and fun. We are deeply grateful for everything you’ve done. Parents, please stand so we can show how much we love and appreciate you.

You challenged us to grow, encouraged us to keep going, and equipped us with the skills and confidence we’ll carry forward in life. You kept us focused and motivated, even when distractions called our names, and helped us become our best selves. We are truly thankful for your dedication and care. Teachers, please stand so we can recognize all you’ve done to help us succeed.

We are grateful for your leadership, vision, and commitment to the Clairbourn experience that has meant so much to us. Your work behind the scenes has made a lasting difference in our school and in our lives. Please join us in giving a round of applause to honor the Trustees for all they do.
Eighth Grade Speeches

Eighth-grade students shared their remembrance speeches. Watch their heart-felt speeches about the growth they have experienced, the memories they have made, and the overall impact Clairbourn has had in their lives.

The Power of Shaping What's Around Us

Clairbourn is not just a school; it is a community that is shaped by every one of us. We often think of school as just something that we go through, but here at Clairbourn, what matters most is that we create our community. At first, I didn’t fully understand what that meant. I thought that communities are just something that have existed. However, they are not. We create our community in the way that we treat others. We create the community in our choices that we make when nobody is watching.

Pushing Your Boundary

I have been a proud Clairbourn cougar since I was three years old in the Junior Preschool class.  That means that I have spent almost my entire life growing up within these gates. Throughout my eleven years spent here at Clairbourn, I have learned many lessons. Some of these are how to be kind by helping fill other people’s buckets,  how to find courage even when you are scared, and how to be a good, honest person. Perhaps the most important thing I’ve learned, though, is to take advantage of the opportunities you are given.

What Challenges Can Teach Us

When people say that challenges make you stronger, it sounds simple. However, when you are actually going through a challenge, it does not feel very simple at all. It can feel scary, stressful, and sometimes even overwhelming. My name is Alex Ning, and during my time at Clairbourn, I learned that challenges do not magically make us stronger just because they happen. Challenges strengthen us because hard things teach us how to become stronger.

More Than a Community

Unlike many of my classmates, I didn’t grow up at Clairbourn and was only here for two years. At first, I thought that meant I would have less to say, fewer memories to share, and less of a connection to this school. I remember wondering if I would ever really feel like I belonged here. But standing here today, I realize something important: at Clairbourn, we don’t just join a community, we create it. And what really matters isn’t how long I was here, but what I contributed to it.

The Class of
2026 Graduation Address: Not Defined by Setbacks

Today is a celebration.  A celebration of hard work.  A celebration of growth. And most importantly, a celebration of each one of you.

Class of 2026, you are graduating from a school founded 100 years ago. Clairbourn was built on high standards, strong values, gratitude, perseverance, and character. You have worked hard to earn your diplomas. You learned how to lead, how to study, how to support one another, and how to rise to expectations that were not lowered simply because something was difficult. And you did it all with heart.

You should feel proud of all you have accomplished.
