C.A.S.T. is Proud to Present: Superheroes, Unite!
Superheroes, Unite! is coming to the MPB on Friday, March 20 at 6 p.m.
Calling all superheroes! The citizens of Nova City need a patron superhero to save them from the evil clutches of the nefarious Colonel Mustard and his sidekick Hemlock. So what do they do? They hold an audition, of course! Legions of fantastic, incredible, and uncanny characters descend upon City Hall hoping the mayor and police commissioner might marvel at their strange powers, which range from super strength to super speed, from mind reading to animal whispering, from quoting Shakespeare to pointing out irony. Okay, so some superpowers are more helpful than others, but when Colonel Mustard unleashes a surprise attack on City Hall, both the mighty and the average must join together to bring justice and security to Nova City.

There will be two performances for students: Wednesday, March 18, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. for grades 4 to 8 and
Thursday, March 19, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. for grades 1 - 3. A final public showing for all guests will be held on Friday, March 20 at 6 p.m. The Friday performance tickets are now on sale for $10.

Clairbourn Insights
Let's take a moment to reflect on how we've grown over the past 100 days!
Do you want to know how our kindergarten and first grade students celebrated the 100th day of school on Tuesday? Kindergarteners painted 100 dots on hats and learned a person who is 100 years old is called a centenarian. They also drew pictures of what they imagined they would look like at age 100. Students took turns showing, describing, and leading the counting of their 100th day displays. Students stayed silent for 100 seconds and practiced counting to 100 by 5s, 10s, and their favorite fun way: “1, 2, skip a few…99, 100.” They also guessed how far they could walk in 100 steps, then counted as they walked—making it just past the MPB.
Meanwhile, first-grade students celebrated the 100th day of school by doing math centers and practicing exchanging base-10 cubes for a 100 flat (a square block representing 100 units). Students also created crowns to announce that they are "100 Days Smarter!" Throughout the year, they have been counting each school day on their calendar, eagerly anticipating the moment they could add the $1 bill and a flat representing 100. As part of the celebration, one of their centers challenged them to build a structure using 100 cups, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and perseverance. It’s a special milestone marking how much they’ve grown and learned in just 100 days!

Clairbourn Life
Valentine comes from a Latin word meaning strength — and this month, our preschoolers showed just how powerful kindness can be. As part of their February kindness theme, they visited the administration building to share a special thank you song with staff. Check out this sweet moment and other ways our community is spreading love on Vidigami!

Happy Lunar New Year!
Lunar New Year, for many cultures across Asia, is the most important festival of the year. The year 2026 is the year of the horse. The Chinese calendar corresponds to the zodiac cycle of 12 animals. The sequence of animals is: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. This system for naming years has been in use for the last 2000 years!
May the new lunar year bring joys that never fade, hopes that never die, and strength that never weakens. Wishing everyone a very happy Lunar New Year.
