Clairbourn Insights
In Social Studies, sixth graders traveled back in time to Ancient Kush, exploring famous temples and tombs while learning from historical artifacts. Students also listened to music from Kush and worked with a partner to complete a gallery walk featuring historically significant landmarks and artifacts. Together, they collaborated on written responses to questions about each site and item, deepening their understanding of how these elements contributed to Kush society and its lasting importance. |

Pop Culture Theme Day: Tuesday, January 27
Student Council invites you to wear any clothes related to pop culture or trending media. This is a day to celebrate the popular trends we enjoy in music, art, gaming, books, TV, and movies. We know some 6th graders who have Stranger Things shirts, and some Student Council members are planning to wear Minecraft shirts. Student Council is also guessing that a lot of Cougars have K Pop Demon Hunters shirts! If someone doesn't have a pop culture shirt, they could dress like a character from pop culture. For example, someone could wear a yellow shirt and brown pants to dress like SpongeBob SquarePants.
